Narrative:
During the walkaround, I noticed the tug was attached, the tow pin installed, the proper lights on the nose gear were illuminated, and the chocks were in place. The aircraft was on the proper position on the ramp. The #12 brake was smoking heavily, so I mentioned this to the captain. A mechanic was on board, so the captain asked him if he could release the brakes. The mechanic left the cockpit, returned shortly, and granted clearance to release the brakes. Later in his preflight, the captain reset the parking brake. Preparing to run checklists, the purser called and said that the jetbridge was moving and the door 2L was caught. The captain went back to see. I was not on 'flight' interphone, but apparently the captain was asked by the mechanic to release the brake. He did so. The purser called again and said the jetbridge had again shifted and was tearing the door loose. I do not recall when the mechanic asked the captain to reset the parking brake.

Title: B777 ROLLS DURING PARKING AFTER THE CAPT RELEASES THE PARKING BRAKE AT THE REQUEST OF THE MECH TEARING LOOSE THE #2 ACFT DOOR.
Narrative: DURING THE WALKAROUND, I NOTICED THE TUG WAS ATTACHED, THE TOW PIN INSTALLED, THE PROPER LIGHTS ON THE NOSE GEAR WERE ILLUMINATED, AND THE CHOCKS WERE IN PLACE. THE ACFT WAS ON THE PROPER POS ON THE RAMP. THE #12 BRAKE WAS SMOKING HEAVILY, SO I MENTIONED THIS TO THE CAPT. A MECH WAS ON BOARD, SO THE CAPT ASKED HIM IF HE COULD RELEASE THE BRAKES. THE MECH LEFT THE COCKPIT, RETURNED SHORTLY, AND GRANTED CLRNC TO RELEASE THE BRAKES. LATER IN HIS PREFLT, THE CAPT RESET THE PARKING BRAKE. PREPARING TO RUN CHKLISTS, THE PURSER CALLED AND SAID THAT THE JETBRIDGE WAS MOVING AND THE DOOR 2L WAS CAUGHT. THE CAPT WENT BACK TO SEE. I WAS NOT ON 'FLT' INTERPHONE, BUT APPARENTLY THE CAPT WAS ASKED BY THE MECH TO RELEASE THE BRAKE. HE DID SO. THE PURSER CALLED AGAIN AND SAID THE JETBRIDGE HAD AGAIN SHIFTED AND WAS TEARING THE DOOR LOOSE. I DO NOT RECALL WHEN THE MECH ASKED THE CAPT TO RESET THE PARKING BRAKE.
