Narrative:
On taxi out of ZZZ, captain instructed me to reset pack #2 that was deferred to see if it worked. I did as instructed and the pack worked normally. Upon reaching our filed altitude of FL310 captain had multiple talks with maintenance concerning the deferred pack operating normally and having it cleared at arrival. He then decided to go to FL370. At FL370 both packs operating normally. He again talked to maintenance, and we were dispatched instructions to descend due to the deferred pack. After a short time due to ATC and active MOA we did descend. Captain called maintenance on the phone upon arrival to ZZZ1 to try to get the pack cleared.
