Narrative:

During aircraft chkout, after practice ILS to crq airport with full stop landing, taxied back to runup area for short debriefing and pretkof checklist. Was cleared to taxi up and hold short of runway. Both pilots repeated hold short instructions. Both pilots distraction due to radio traffic and taxied passed hold short. Reported same to tower controller with no incident occurring. The hold short line had been moved to accommodate regional airline requirements and wasn't where expected.
