Narrative:
Non current commercial charts. I had a 3 day trip on nov/thu-dec/sat/01. I did not fly this trip and called in sick because of a bad cold and commuted back home on nov/thu/01. My next trip scheduled was dec/sat-dec/tue/01. Since I am a commuter, I did not go through a base to pick up commercial charts revisions. Therefore, I believe I was missing a revision dated nov/fri/01 and a revision dated dec/fri/01. I discovered this error on dec/mon/01 on flight from rno-las when asked by FAA inspector what revision number I showed as last updated. This mistake was not intentional, but due to the complicated and unusual way in which I started the trip. I will correct this by picking up all the missing updates when passing through the next base tomorrow and check with the captain's commercial chart for correct dates until I pass through a base. In the future, I will always start trips to domicile.
