Narrative:
While taxiing to runway 36 'north', pilot was distraction by passenger and passed IFR holding stripes. Pilot stopped short of runway. No other aircraft was involved or inconvenienced. Tower advised pilot of having passed very clearly marked stripes. Pilot acknowledged mistake and admitted being unfamiliar with runway/taxiway layout.

Title: PIPER PA32 FAILED TO STOP AT THE ILS RWY HOLD SHORT LINE RESULTING IN TWR CTLR INTERVENTION, BUT NO TFC CONFLICT.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING TO RWY 36 'N', PLT WAS DISTR BY PAX AND PASSED IFR HOLDING STRIPES. PLT STOPPED SHORT OF RWY. NO OTHER ACFT WAS INVOLVED OR INCONVENIENCED. TWR ADVISED PLT OF HAVING PASSED VERY CLRLY MARKED STRIPES. PLT ACKNOWLEDGED MISTAKE AND ADMITTED BEING UNFAMILIAR WITH RWY/TXWY LAYOUT.
