Narrative:
After completing the ILS approach to runway 23L at rdu we rolled out and turned off the runway on taxiway A3. This taxiway was closed at the time. I assume that it was closed pending snow removal, however, the taxiway was mostly clear. The flight from hpn to rdu was a busy one as the WX in rdu was very close to minimums. In this busy atmosphere we missed the NOTAM for the taxiway closure. Contributing to the problem was a new first officer in a new type of equipment.
