Narrative:
WX at nashville was rainy with thunderstorms in the vicinity. Landed on runway 20R. Taxied on taxiway a. Instructed by operations to enter parking area via R3. Taxiway was closed between R1 and R3. Due to equipment, poor lighting, and operations instructions, we didn't enter at R1 but went back onto the runway and came in via R3. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary during the taxi. I did discover mud on the left wing gear during the postflt walkaround, so I must have gone off a taxiway at some point. The taxiway was poorly lit and wet, but as I stated before, I didn't notice anything during the taxi that would indicate that I went off the taxiway.
