Narrative:
After receiving and accepting a descend via the dylin 1 clearance and after just passing dupont VOR, the controller informed us we were to be at FL220. At this point, we were descending through FL200. After rechking the arrival, I did see the no lower than FL220 beneath the dqo frequency box. The first officer and I briefed this new arrival before we began the descent though I did not see that restr. The first officer was flying the airplane and said he had seen it and just forgot about it once we received the clearance. During the postflt debrief, I questioned how we could miss that restr. Upon checking it again a third time at the gate, I noticed that there is no small instructional arrow pointing to the fix -- just the larger frequency arrow. After looking at numerous other arrs, I saw that the absence of the smaller instructional arrow is rare. On all the other descend via arrs I looked at, I did not notice another absence of the small arrow over a facility. Ie, paradise arrival to lax or the wonderful stars into las. No excuse though. Just pointing out the lack of obviousness of that restr on the dylin 1. Perhaps message on that arrival may prevent a similar oversight.

Title: AN S80 PIC RPT ON AN ALT OVERSHOOT WHEN THE CREW DID NOT FOLLOW THE STAR ARR NOTE REGARDING THE ALT XING RESTR OVER DQO, DE.
Narrative: AFTER RECEIVING AND ACCEPTING A DSND VIA THE DYLIN 1 CLRNC AND AFTER JUST PASSING DUPONT VOR, THE CTLR INFORMED US WE WERE TO BE AT FL220. AT THIS POINT, WE WERE DSNDING THROUGH FL200. AFTER RECHKING THE ARR, I DID SEE THE NO LOWER THAN FL220 BENEATH THE DQO FREQ BOX. THE FO AND I BRIEFED THIS NEW ARR BEFORE WE BEGAN THE DSCNT THOUGH I DID NOT SEE THAT RESTR. THE FO WAS FLYING THE AIRPLANE AND SAID HE HAD SEEN IT AND JUST FORGOT ABOUT IT ONCE WE RECEIVED THE CLRNC. DURING THE POSTFLT DEBRIEF, I QUESTIONED HOW WE COULD MISS THAT RESTR. UPON CHKING IT AGAIN A THIRD TIME AT THE GATE, I NOTICED THAT THERE IS NO SMALL INSTRUCTIONAL ARROW POINTING TO THE FIX -- JUST THE LARGER FREQ ARROW. AFTER LOOKING AT NUMEROUS OTHER ARRS, I SAW THAT THE ABSENCE OF THE SMALLER INSTRUCTIONAL ARROW IS RARE. ON ALL THE OTHER DSND VIA ARRS I LOOKED AT, I DID NOT NOTICE ANOTHER ABSENCE OF THE SMALL ARROW OVER A FACILITY. IE, PARADISE ARR TO LAX OR THE WONDERFUL STARS INTO LAS. NO EXCUSE THOUGH. JUST POINTING OUT THE LACK OF OBVIOUSNESS OF THAT RESTR ON THE DYLIN 1. PERHAPS MESSAGE ON THAT ARR MAY PREVENT A SIMILAR OVERSIGHT.
