Narrative:
When a passenger first boarded, flight attendant #6 instructed her that her dog would need to go into its carrier. Passenger stated she would after she gets settled into her seat. During the flight, passenger refused to keep her dog in the carrier after the purser, flight attendant #1, had repeatedly asked her to. Passenger told flight attendant #1 that it is not her fault if she doesn't obey her instructions and that we cannot throw her off the flight. Flight attendant #1 conferred with me to determine the next course of action. We collectively decided to hand her the bottom passenger portion of the passenger misconduct form to inform her that she is interfering with flight crew member instructions and duties. She took the form and told flight attendant #1 to leave her alone. The dog remained out of the carrier for most of the duration of the flight. We arranged for auths to meet our flight and they did.

Title: B767-300 FLT ATTENDANT HAD A PAX WHO WOULD NOT PUT HER DOG IN THE ANIMAL CARRIER.
Narrative: WHEN A PAX FIRST BOARDED, FLT ATTENDANT #6 INSTRUCTED HER THAT HER DOG WOULD NEED TO GO INTO ITS CARRIER. PAX STATED SHE WOULD AFTER SHE GETS SETTLED INTO HER SEAT. DURING THE FLT, PAX REFUSED TO KEEP HER DOG IN THE CARRIER AFTER THE PURSER, FLT ATTENDANT #1, HAD REPEATEDLY ASKED HER TO. PAX TOLD FLT ATTENDANT #1 THAT IT IS NOT HER FAULT IF SHE DOESN'T OBEY HER INSTRUCTIONS AND THAT WE CANNOT THROW HER OFF THE FLT. FLT ATTENDANT #1 CONFERRED WITH ME TO DETERMINE THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION. WE COLLECTIVELY DECIDED TO HAND HER THE BOTTOM PAX PORTION OF THE PAX MISCONDUCT FORM TO INFORM HER THAT SHE IS INTERFERING WITH FLC MEMBER INSTRUCTIONS AND DUTIES. SHE TOOK THE FORM AND TOLD FLT ATTENDANT #1 TO LEAVE HER ALONE. THE DOG REMAINED OUT OF THE CARRIER FOR MOST OF THE DURATION OF THE FLT. WE ARRANGED FOR AUTHS TO MEET OUR FLT AND THEY DID.
