On flight XXX at FL210 dca-bos at 25 NM southwest pvd experienced smoke in cockpit, diverted to pvd. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the #1 xformer rectifier was found to be malfunctioning. It was replaced.

Narrative: ON FLT XXX AT FL210 DCA-BOS AT 25 NM SW PVD EXPERIENCED SMOKE IN COCKPIT, DIVERTED TO PVD. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE #1 XFORMER RECTIFIER WAS FOUND TO BE MALFUNCTIONING. IT WAS REPLACED.
