Narrative:
I was captain and PIC of air carrier flight to dublin. Winds were 210 degrees at 20 KTS. A normal approach and landing were made, spoilers deployed and all 3 engines in reverse. The aircraft was tracking centerline for about 2 or 3 seconds then started drifting left. All corrections had no effect and the aircraft departed the left side of the runway and stopped about 30 ft off the side of the runway. No injuries. After touchdown, a crosswind of 45 KTS was later recorded. Supplemental information from acn 537364: the airplane became bogged down in the mud. The passenger and crew deplaned using the aft stairs. There is localized damage to the engines, flaps, and undercarriage. The WX at the time was reported to be heavy rains and the winds with gusts up to 27 KTS. After the incident, the winds were reported to be gusting up to 42 KTS.
