Narrative:
Upon arrival at the jetbridge, captain reviewed the logbook which was on the jetbridge. The left landing light was an open item and was being repaired. The mechanic was observed at the left wingtip. The captain and first officer started their cockpit preflight duties. The mechanic entered the cockpit and checked the operation of the landing light then advised the crew that the landing light was fixed. The crew confirmed the logbook was on the aircraft and departed for ZZZ1. Upon arrival at ZZZ1, the cockpit discovered that the landing light was fixed, but not signed off in the logbook. The outbound captain was briefed on the situation.
