Narrative:
At approximately FL250, 'a' system hydraulic pressure failed. QRH emergency procedures were run. ZZZ dispatch and maintenance were notified. Flight attendants were briefed. Emergency was declared with ZLA. Divert was flown to las. Normal descent holding (for manual landing gear extension), and uneventful landing. At gate, hydraulic line was found ruptured with total 'a' system hydraulic loss.

Title: A B737-300 IN CLB AT FL250 DECLARED AN EMER AND DIVERTED DUE TO LOSS OF 'A' HYD SYS PRESSURE AND QUANTITY. CAUSED BY A FAILED LINE.
Narrative: AT APPROX FL250, 'A' SYS HYD PRESSURE FAILED. QRH EMER PROCS WERE RUN. ZZZ DISPATCH AND MAINT WERE NOTIFIED. FLT ATTENDANTS WERE BRIEFED. EMER WAS DECLARED WITH ZLA. DIVERT WAS FLOWN TO LAS. NORMAL DSCNT HOLDING (FOR MANUAL LNDG GEAR EXTENSION), AND UNEVENTFUL LNDG. AT GATE, HYD LINE WAS FOUND RUPTURED WITH TOTAL 'A' SYS HYD LOSS.
