Narrative:

Event occurred during power back operation from gate at msp. Commenced power back operation in accordance with all normal procedures and hand signals from ground personnel. Approximately 10 seconds into power back and 75 yds from gate, received emergency stop signal from ground director. Deselected reverse thrust immediately. Received a second emergency stop signal (about 2-3 seconds) after first one. I tapped the brakes to arrest the backward roll of aircraft more expeditiously than was happening. At this point, one of the flight attendants, who was standing in the aisle adjacent to row 3, lost her balance and her thigh struck the seat armrest causing her to fall down in aisle. She complained of leg pain, so I returned to gate for medical attention. During the operation, aircraft speed never exceeded that of a brisk walking pace.
