Narrative:
Atlanta approach issued missed approach instructions climb to 3000 ft 320 degrees. Fty amended, as climb 'nebound' heading of 030 degrees and 3000 ft took us through dobbins control zone/air traffic area at 3000 ft. (Their ceiling is 3600 ft) before contact was made with atl on the miss fulton sent us right into dobbins. I believe their instruction to 'maintain VFR' washes their hands of it. I'll call fty to discuss after this ASRS is postmarked!

Title: A PA34 PLT, WHILE EXECUTING A MISSED APCH TO FTY, WAS GIVEN VECTORS THROUGH ADJACENT CLASS D AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ATLANTA APCH ISSUED MISSED APCH INSTRUCTIONS CLB TO 3000 FT 320 DEGS. FTY AMENDED, AS CLB 'NEBOUND' HEADING OF 030 DEGS AND 3000 FT TOOK US THROUGH DOBBINS CTL ZONE/ATA AT 3000 FT. (THEIR CEILING IS 3600 FT) BEFORE CONTACT WAS MADE WITH ATL ON THE MISS FULTON SENT US RIGHT INTO DOBBINS. I BELIEVE THEIR INSTRUCTION TO 'MAINTAIN VFR' WASHES THEIR HANDS OF IT.
