Narrative:
On approach to sjc runway 30L, were cleared for visual approach at approximately 6000 ft MSL. Aircraft on GS. Set MDA in altitude alert window and descended to MDA. Aircraft TCASII inoperative caused distraction with multiple targets in descent. Distraction to look for aircraft caused crew to descend to approximately 900 ft MSL. Aircraft and ground separation was visual.
