Narrative:

We were climbing out of abq. At about 8000 ft a target showed up on TCASII. We asked ATC if they saw the traffic and we were looking to see if we could see it. We decided to increase climb rate to get above it and next thing I knew I had gone through the 15000 ft clearance we were given. At about 15800 ft, I immediately started descent back to 15000 ft. There wasn't any conflict with other aircraft and controller said nothing to us. Classic case of distraction with being concerned about traffic on TCASII.
