Narrative:
During our climb to cruising altitude the captain notified flight attendants that we would return to dfw to have mechanics check on an item related to the battery. We returned to dfw where the item was fixed and went on to ZZZ.

Narrative: DURING OUR CLB TO CRUISING ALT THE CAPT NOTIFIED FLT ATTENDANTS THAT WE WOULD RETURN TO DFW TO HAVE MECHS CHK ON AN ITEM RELATED TO THE BATTERY. WE RETURNED TO DFW WHERE THE ITEM WAS FIXED AND WENT ON TO ZZZ.
