Narrative:
NAS ATIS stated runway 14 threshold displaced 3000 ft. On final, tower controller stated runway 14 threshold displaced -- 3000 ft unusable. Close in, we could see a white line across the runway with arrows pointing to it at about 3000 ft down the runway. We touched down just past this line. On rollout just before exiting the runway, we crossed another white line with the same markings. As we turned off the runway, a different tower controller cleared us to the gate and told us we were on the closed section of the runway. There were no temporary cones or markings -- only these permanent white painted lines. 2 others landed behind us and both did the same as we did. The discussion with the tower was heated as everyone tried to explain that 'threshold' means the beginning of the runway. Next hour, ATIS was changed to '3000 ft of runway 14 closed' - still not the 'last 3000 ft.'

Title: B757 FLC ROLLED OUT DURING LNDG ONTO A CLOSED PORTION OF RWY AT NAS DUE THE CLOSED RWY PORTION NOT BEING SPECIFIED AS SUCH IN THE ATIS BROADCAST, BUT BELIEVED BY PLTS TO BE THE 3000 FT DISPLACED THRESHOLD.
Narrative: NAS ATIS STATED RWY 14 THRESHOLD DISPLACED 3000 FT. ON FINAL, TWR CTLR STATED RWY 14 THRESHOLD DISPLACED -- 3000 FT UNUSABLE. CLOSE IN, WE COULD SEE A WHITE LINE ACROSS THE RWY WITH ARROWS POINTING TO IT AT ABOUT 3000 FT DOWN THE RWY. WE TOUCHED DOWN JUST PAST THIS LINE. ON ROLLOUT JUST BEFORE EXITING THE RWY, WE CROSSED ANOTHER WHITE LINE WITH THE SAME MARKINGS. AS WE TURNED OFF THE RWY, A DIFFERENT TWR CTLR CLRED US TO THE GATE AND TOLD US WE WERE ON THE CLOSED SECTION OF THE RWY. THERE WERE NO TEMPORARY CONES OR MARKINGS -- ONLY THESE PERMANENT WHITE PAINTED LINES. 2 OTHERS LANDED BEHIND US AND BOTH DID THE SAME AS WE DID. THE DISCUSSION WITH THE TWR WAS HEATED AS EVERYONE TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT 'THRESHOLD' MEANS THE BEGINNING OF THE RWY. NEXT HR, ATIS WAS CHANGED TO '3000 FT OF RWY 14 CLOSED' - STILL NOT THE 'LAST 3000 FT.'
