The aircraft flaps and slats did not respond to the selected position during approach. ATC notified, procedures followed. Flight landed safely at dia. The cabin was prepared for evacuate/evacuation, however, it was not needed.

Title: B767 CREW FOUND THE FLAPS AND SLATS WERE NOT RESPONDING TO THE FLAP HANDLE.
Narrative: THE ACFT FLAPS AND SLATS DID NOT RESPOND TO THE SELECTED POS DURING APCH. ATC NOTIFIED, PROCS FOLLOWED. FLT LANDED SAFELY AT DIA. THE CABIN WAS PREPARED FOR EVAC, HOWEVER, IT WAS NOT NEEDED.
