Narrative:
We crossed the hold short bars for runway 35 at mem. We informed tower that we crossed and we can clear if we taxi to the left. We did clear the runway and no incident occurred. Factors: runway construction and nonstandard signs and markings. Supplemental information from acn 542435: instructed to expedite to runway 35. This was my first time to taxi to runway 35. There is a lot of construction/cones blocking txwys at the approach end of runway 35. Hurrying to the end, combined with the construction I was focusing on, I taxied past the hold short line that is way before the end of the runway. I advised ground that I taxied past and they had me pull forward to the run-up area. (The flight engineer advised me what I had done.) there was a plane on 2 mi final.
