Narrative:
Landing runway 27 bos flight X. Copilot flew normal approach and landing. Touched down approximately 132 KTS low, autobrake selected. At approximately 100 KTS, manual brake was applied and shortly thereafter a loud bang was heard. Exited runway, called tower, notified them of a possible blown tire and requested fire department. Upon their arrival, they verified that the #1 tire had failed. Called bos maintenance. They came out, inspected gear, determined aircraft was safe for tow and towed aircraft to gate.
