Narrative:

Landing runway 27 bos flight X. Copilot flew normal approach and landing. Touched down approximately 132 KTS low, autobrake selected. At approximately 100 KTS, manual brake was applied and shortly thereafter a loud bang was heard. Exited runway, called tower, notified them of a possible blown tire and requested fire department. Upon their arrival, they verified that the #1 tire had failed. Called bos maintenance. They came out, inspected gear, determined aircraft was safe for tow and towed aircraft to gate.

Title: AN A300 CREW, ON LNDG ROLL AT BOS, EXPERIENCED A MAN GEAR TIRE FAILURE BELOW 100 KTS.

Narrative: LNDG RWY 27 BOS FLT X. COPLT FLEW NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. TOUCHED DOWN APPROX 132 KTS LOW, AUTOBRAKE SELECTED. AT APPROX 100 KTS, MANUAL BRAKE WAS APPLIED AND SHORTLY THEREAFTER A LOUD BANG WAS HEARD. EXITED RWY, CALLED TWR, NOTIFIED THEM OF A POSSIBLE BLOWN TIRE AND REQUESTED FIRE DEPT. UPON THEIR ARR, THEY VERIFIED THAT THE #1 TIRE HAD FAILED. CALLED BOS MAINT. THEY CAME OUT, INSPECTED GEAR, DETERMINED ACFT WAS SAFE FOR TOW AND TOWED ACFT TO GATE.
