Narrative:
On arrival at aircraft for departure, noted database change scheduled for that day. ACARS uploaded route stated njc V18 organ. Our charts did not have this route, nor would FMC accept. After many communications with dispatch, discovered waypoints perry and bosoh between njc and organ had been moved. Obtained correct coordination from dispatch and continued. Did not query ATC en route since requested and granted direct organ before njc. On descent and approximately 5 mins before venus, told to hold at venus as published. Set up hold and called over fix entering. Approximately 1 min later, ATC called and asked what coordinates we were using for venus and gave us a radial and DME off cvc, not what we had. Our turn was turning us back to correct location, and we requested holding pattern parameters. ATC assigned a heading for the approach and the rest of the flight was normal. We sent message to dispatch to alert other aircraft. There were no bulletins or NOTAMS regarding the changes.
