Narrative:
While coming in for a vector runway 7 into denver, co, approach control cleared us for the visual approach and also said we should descend to 7500 ft for traffic. I have no idea what this traffic was doing at 8000 ft and 20 NM west of runway 7, but he got a little low and set off our TCASII. TCASII was saying that he was 1200 ft from us.
