Narrative:
With summertime high temperatures approaching heavyweight takeoffs to the east on runway 9L at fll put us precariously close to shoreline banner, to wing and other low-level (500 ft and below) traffic. TCAS has been ahead with traffic avoidance. Request tower advise of this traffic as seen visually or on tower cabin attendant radar. This procedure is already in place at pbi.

Title: B737 PLT CONCERNED GROSS WEIGHT TAKEOFFS DEPARTING FLL TO THE E CAN ENCOUNTER AND CONFLICT WITH LOW FLYING ACFT NEAR THE SHORELINE.
Narrative: WITH SUMMERTIME HIGH TEMPS APCHING HEAVYWEIGHT TAKEOFFS TO THE E ON RWY 9L AT FLL PUT US PRECARIOUSLY CLOSE TO SHORELINE BANNER, TO WING AND OTHER LOW-LEVEL (500 FT AND BELOW) TFC. TCAS HAS BEEN AHEAD WITH TFC AVOIDANCE. REQUEST TWR ADVISE OF THIS TFC AS SEEN VISUALLY OR ON TWR CAB RADAR. THIS PROC IS ALREADY IN PLACE AT PBI.
