Narrative:
While in takeoff roll at full takeoff power, aircraft 'jerked.' aircraft went off runway, to the left, and after departing pavement, retracted landing gear. Put aircraft in right bank to avoid obstructions. Fly-by afterwards, tower observed gear retracted with nothing abnormal. Aircraft flown to maintenance base. Upon landing, left tire flat. Left tire, tube and rim need replacement. Full inspection not completed yet.

Title: P51 PLT LOST CTL ON TKOF AND WENT OFF THE L SIDE OF THE RWY.
Narrative: WHILE IN TKOF ROLL AT FULL TKOF PWR, ACFT 'JERKED.' ACFT WENT OFF RWY, TO THE L, AND AFTER DEPARTING PAVEMENT, RETRACTED LNDG GEAR. PUT ACFT IN R BANK TO AVOID OBSTRUCTIONS. FLY-BY AFTERWARDS, TWR OBSERVED GEAR RETRACTED WITH NOTHING ABNORMAL. ACFT FLOWN TO MAINT BASE. UPON LNDG, L TIRE FLAT. L TIRE, TUBE AND RIM NEED REPLACEMENT. FULL INSPECTION NOT COMPLETED YET.
