Narrative:
Called out prior to departure to reinstall L1 door slide. Installed slide per maintenance manual. Signed off on XXX, put in a work package. Mr Y informed me at my duty start time on 05/thu/02, the slide written up by flight crew became loose. Maintenance found slide needed to be changed. I wish to report this event, door slide was svcable when installed otherwise it would have been changed at sea.
