Narrative:
On taxi, as a flight attendant I did my best to try to diffuse a bad situation. The captain was informed and my advice was to remove a volatile, unstable individual from the plane. We returned to the gate to do so. That is when everything was done improperly. This was a level 1 threat that was not handled as such. Once this was reported and we returned to the gate the captain should have followed through and removed the passenger and their bags as per a level 1 threat.
