Narrative:
Just pushed off the gate at clt. Tug was unhooked and flight was cleared to start engine # 2. After engine start an oily smoke started to enter cabin and cockpit thru vents. Flight returned to gate and passenger were deplaned. Maintenance was called and they determined that the left pack failed causing the pack to emit the smoke. Pack was deferred and the flight was dispatched.

Title: CL60 EXPERIENCES PACK FAILURE AND COCKPIT/CABIN SMOKE DURING ENGINE START AT CLT.
Narrative: JUST PUSHED OFF THE GATE AT CLT. TUG WAS UNHOOKED AND FLT WAS CLRED TO START ENGINE # 2. AFTER ENGINE START AN OILY SMOKE STARTED TO ENTER CABIN AND COCKPIT THRU VENTS. FLT RETURNED TO GATE AND PAX WERE DEPLANED. MAINT WAS CALLED AND THEY DETERMINED THAT THE LEFT PACK FAILED CAUSING THE PACK TO EMIT THE SMOKE. PACK WAS DEFERRED AND THE FLT WAS DISPATCHED.
