Narrative:

While on takeoff roll on runway 31 at lga (winds 320 degrees at 16 KTS gusting to 20 KTS) door open light illuminated at approximately 90 KTS. The first officer and I both acknowledged that the aft service door light was in fact illuminated. Given the speed and conditions; the decision to abort was made. Abort was initiated at approximately 110 KTS. Lga tower was informed by crew. Passenger were instructed to remain seated. Aircraft exited at taxiway T; uneventful. Parking brake was not set. Aircraft was instructed to taxi to gate.

Title: B737-300 FLT CREW HAS A DOOR WARNING LIGHT DURING TKOF ROLL; REJECTS TKOF.

Narrative: WHILE ON TKOF ROLL ON RWY 31 AT LGA (WINDS 320 DEGS AT 16 KTS GUSTING TO 20 KTS) DOOR OPEN LIGHT ILLUMINATED AT APPROX 90 KTS. THE FO AND I BOTH ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE AFT SVC DOOR LIGHT WAS IN FACT ILLUMINATED. GIVEN THE SPD AND CONDITIONS; THE DECISION TO ABORT WAS MADE. ABORT WAS INITIATED AT APPROX 110 KTS. LGA TWR WAS INFORMED BY CREW. PAX WERE INSTRUCTED TO REMAIN SEATED. ACFT EXITED AT TXWY T; UNEVENTFUL. PARKING BRAKE WAS NOT SET. ACFT WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO GATE.
