Narrative:
Cleared to position and hold runway 22L. Behind traffic just given takeoff clearance. MD80 on final runway 27L. Separation between us and runway 27L landing traffic looked close but workable. Tower told us to roll now just as traffic ahead of us rotated. He then told runway 27L traffic to go around. We continued takeoff based upon instructions to roll now. Tower apologized for confusion.
