Narrative:
We were en route to san from bur. We were being vectored between 2 airways. They gave us a climb and heading. I repeated the climb to 11000 ft and heading 110 degrees. Nothing was said back from ATC, so we proceeded on 110 degree heading for 5 mins. Then approach calls and asks where we were going? We stated on 110 degree vector. They say negative, then gave us 210 degrees. Somewhere there was a miscom.
