Narrative:
Crossing restr at womac intersection was given as 250 KIAS and 13000 ft. On descent, I put the 250 KTS/13000 ft restr in the FMS on logan (the next fix) by accident. It went unnoticed by PNF. We crossed the fix (womac) at approximately 300 KIAS and 13800 ft. ATC had to vector us right to avoid overrunning aircraft in front of us. ATC never mentioned our error. We never came close to aircraft in front of us. That is probably why ATC never said anything. (He was at least 2000 ft below and 3 mi in front of us.) I would emphasize rechking all entered crossing restrs placed in FMS.
