Narrative:

Requested and was granted clearance to deviate around a cumulus nimbus along ret of flight. Gave the radar return a 15-20 NM berth. While in cirrus clouds, encountered a 5-10 second period of moderate turbulence. When clear of turbulence, checked with cabin as to any injuries. Was told that passenger were fine but flight attendants were a little shook up, but otherwise ok. Continued to mbj. At mbj, interviewed flight attendants face-to-face as to injuries. Several had bumps and bruises, but said they were ok to return to mia. Flight attendants were scheduled to continue to sdq after mia. En route to mia, I was informed that several flight attendants wanted to be replaced in mia and one wanted to go to company medical. Mia operations was advised and a flight attendant supervisor met the flight.
