Narrative:
After picking up 2 co-workers at luk for a pleasure flight for dinner at eye I had a clearance for takeoff on runway 21R with a northbound departure. My co-workers had never been in a small plane before over our city. After turning right for the 'downwind' I became distracted with their conversation and sight-seeing. I ended up with a northeasterly heading and my ground track took me over the runway 21R centerline just north of the approach end. The tower controller asked what I was doing and at that moment I realized my mistake and I began correcting. He told me I couldn't cross back over the runway without his approval. I am not aware of any conflicts occurring as a result. I allowed myself to become distracted by my passenger and I did not fly the plane. I should have made a plan for dealing with their presence, such as a sterile cockpit until reaching en route phase. I assumed the takeoff and climb would be routine and I put too much emphasis on interacting with my co-workers in an effort to show them the thrill of flying. On my return to luk to drop off my passenger I was concentrating on procedure and trying to avoid any further mistakes. On rolling off the end of runway 21R onto taxiway C by making a right turn, I was looking for the hold short line. Not seeing it in the dark and being concerned that I had passed it and was taxiing without a clearance, I stopped once I was sure my tail was clear of the runway. I immediately called ground and asked for my taxi clearance. The controller told me I had stopped before the hold short line. It turns out the line is some ways down the taxiway. I didn't go far enough because I had lost confidence in my capabilities from the earlier mistake. I think fatigue was a factor at that point from my dwelling on the previous mistake in my mind through the evening.

Title: PA28 PLT HAD TRACK DEV AND CROSSED OVER A PARALLEL RWY WHILE IN LUK CLASS D. AFTER LNDG THE PLT DID NOT TAXI CLR OF THE HOLD SHORT LINES WHEN EXITING THE RWY.
Narrative: AFTER PICKING UP 2 CO-WORKERS AT LUK FOR A PLEASURE FLT FOR DINNER AT EYE I HAD A CLRNC FOR TKOF ON RWY 21R WITH A NBOUND DEP. MY CO-WORKERS HAD NEVER BEEN IN A SMALL PLANE BEFORE OVER OUR CITY. AFTER TURNING R FOR THE 'DOWNWIND' I BECAME DISTRACTED WITH THEIR CONVERSATION AND SIGHT-SEEING. I ENDED UP WITH A NORTHEASTERLY HEADING AND MY GND TRACK TOOK ME OVER THE RWY 21R CTRLINE JUST N OF THE APCH END. THE TWR CTLR ASKED WHAT I WAS DOING AND AT THAT MOMENT I REALIZED MY MISTAKE AND I BEGAN CORRECTING. HE TOLD ME I COULDN'T CROSS BACK OVER THE RWY WITHOUT HIS APPROVAL. I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY CONFLICTS OCCURRING AS A RESULT. I ALLOWED MYSELF TO BECOME DISTRACTED BY MY PAX AND I DID NOT FLY THE PLANE. I SHOULD HAVE MADE A PLAN FOR DEALING WITH THEIR PRESENCE, SUCH AS A STERILE COCKPIT UNTIL REACHING ENRTE PHASE. I ASSUMED THE TKOF AND CLB WOULD BE ROUTINE AND I PUT TOO MUCH EMPHASIS ON INTERACTING WITH MY CO-WORKERS IN AN EFFORT TO SHOW THEM THE THRILL OF FLYING. ON MY RETURN TO LUK TO DROP OFF MY PAX I WAS CONCENTRATING ON PROC AND TRYING TO AVOID ANY FURTHER MISTAKES. ON ROLLING OFF THE END OF RWY 21R ONTO TXWY C BY MAKING A R TURN, I WAS LOOKING FOR THE HOLD SHORT LINE. NOT SEEING IT IN THE DARK AND BEING CONCERNED THAT I HAD PASSED IT AND WAS TAXIING WITHOUT A CLRNC, I STOPPED ONCE I WAS SURE MY TAIL WAS CLR OF THE RWY. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED GND AND ASKED FOR MY TAXI CLRNC. THE CTLR TOLD ME I HAD STOPPED BEFORE THE HOLD SHORT LINE. IT TURNS OUT THE LINE IS SOME WAYS DOWN THE TXWY.
