Narrative:
Instructed by ATC to hold short of a little used runway when given permission to taxi to the active runway. Forgot to hold short when I finally got to the hold short line. There was no immediate danger that I know of. ATC did not acknowledge my failure to hold short.

Title: LOW TIME STUDENT PLT TAXIES ACROSS A RWY WHEN TOLD TO HOLD SHORT AT MMU, NJ.
Narrative: INSTRUCTED BY ATC TO HOLD SHORT OF A LITTLE USED RWY WHEN GIVEN PERMISSION TO TAXI TO THE ACTIVE RWY. FORGOT TO HOLD SHORT WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO THE HOLD SHORT LINE. THERE WAS NO IMMEDIATE DANGER THAT I KNOW OF. ATC DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE MY FAILURE TO HOLD SHORT.
