Air carrier X was on the tragr 1 arrival. Air carrier X was issued descent via tragr 1 arrival except maintain 8000 ft. Genot #1/500 N7110.299 gives an example using this phraseology. The genot also explains what the air crew is expected to do. This has happened numerous times with other aircraft. Quality assurance review has been filled out.

Narrative: ACR X WAS ON THE TRAGR 1 ARR. ACR X WAS ISSUED DSCNT VIA TRAGR 1 ARR EXCEPT MAINTAIN 8000 FT. GENOT #1/500 N7110.299 GIVES AN EXAMPLE USING THIS PHRASEOLOGY. THE GENOT ALSO EXPLAINS WHAT THE AIR CREW IS EXPECTED TO DO. THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES WITH OTHER ACFT. QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW HAS BEEN FILLED OUT.
