Narrative:
Just after leveloff, I was informed by the #1 flight attendant that she had a first class passenger who was acting intoxicated. He was belligerent and loud and wanted more drinks. She told him he could not have any more alcohol which upset him. He then started making verbal remarks to her expressing his anger. She then informed me of the situation. I told her to tell passenger that I would land at the nearest airport and have him removed if he did not comply with her requests. Shortly thereafter, she informed me that she had the situation under control and she felt comfortable continuing to dfw. We had no more trouble with the passenger for the remainder of the flight. Flight attendant wrote up a passenger misconduct report on passenger and submitted it to her supervisor. I have heard nothing more about the incident.
