Narrative:
This aircraft has numerous problems. This morning we had problems with only 1 air conditioning pack working and problems with the spoiler. As a flight attendant, I was not aware that we were having an emergency landing until we landed and saw emergency vehicles surrounding us. We were told nothing. Mechanics came on, talked to the captain, fixed and deferred items -- what, I don't know. Supplemental information from acn 561836: after takeoff spoiler fault #5 light illuminated on e-cam fault light on overhead panel for #5 spoiler illuminated and #5 spoiler on 'F/cont' page was amber on both wings. Completed spoiler/speed brake fault checklist and returned for landing. No aircraft control problems noted and landing was normal.
