Narrative:
On landing at dal, tower began to ask us to make first turnoff at A3. We were passing A3 as the request was made. No warning prior about keeping speed up. I attempted to hurry to next highspd turnoff when local made the air carrier B737 go around. Some unprofessional words were exchanged from local and this prompted me to call the supervisor who apologized to us for local's poor judgement. She realized that we had no warning and knew we were already passed the exit requested.
