Narrative:
On ksino arrival expected to land runway 25L. Controller changed runway to runway 19L. Input new runway into FMS but airplane did not slow to 210 KTS at cutax intersection. Speed stayed at 250 KTS. Controllers should bear in mind that whenever runway changes are made while on a managed arrival, some potential exists for losing data from database of FMS.
