Narrative:
I was trying to work roc flts which includes making sure the field is in proper condition for a safe operation. The field condition report had 6 inches of snow on the txwys and runways with braking action poor. I tried several numbers in the file, 2 of which were incorrect. Finally I had to ask a flight the conditions of the txwys/ramp area. Flight advised packed snow no problems fair braking action with 1.5 in packed snow. This is completely different than what is in the field condition report. Under special advisories, it specifies up to 1 inch dry snow braking action poor. I called roc and spoke with person X who updates the field condition report. I inquired about the 6 inches and the poor braking action. Person X advised that they didn't put that in there and didn't have an update so person X just left it. I should be supplying my flts with field condition report information, not the other way around.
