Narrative:
Upon parking at the gate, captain initially set brakes, shut down engines, and then released brakes (parking) on signal from ramp. He then called for 'parking checklist.' upon finishing, we were signaled from ramp that we needed to be pushed back (my initial impression was that we had been parked too far forward), so I asked the passenger to take their seats while the pushback was accomplished. It was during this period or after we had been re-parked that the ramp informed us that due to the icy ramp area and gusty wind, the aircraft had rolled forward. I found out later that the ramper setting the chocks had tried to signal the parker that due to the icy ramp, the aircraft had rolled, pushing the chocks out of the way. The end result was, the aircraft had rolled far enough forward for the slat on the left wing to strike the jetway causing enough damage for the continuing flight to be cancelled. There were no injuries to ramp personnel or passenger.

Title: DURING AFTER PARKING PROC, AN A319 IS ACFT DAMAGED BY HITTING JETWAY WHEN CHOCKS FAILED TO HOLD ACFT IN PARKING SPACE WHEN BRAKES RELEASED DUE TO ICY RAMP CONDITIONS AT CMH, OH.
Narrative: UPON PARKING AT THE GATE, CAPT INITIALLY SET BRAKES, SHUT DOWN ENGS, AND THEN RELEASED BRAKES (PARKING) ON SIGNAL FROM RAMP. HE THEN CALLED FOR 'PARKING CHKLIST.' UPON FINISHING, WE WERE SIGNALED FROM RAMP THAT WE NEEDED TO BE PUSHED BACK (MY INITIAL IMPRESSION WAS THAT WE HAD BEEN PARKED TOO FAR FORWARD), SO I ASKED THE PAX TO TAKE THEIR SEATS WHILE THE PUSHBACK WAS ACCOMPLISHED. IT WAS DURING THIS PERIOD OR AFTER WE HAD BEEN RE-PARKED THAT THE RAMP INFORMED US THAT DUE TO THE ICY RAMP AREA AND GUSTY WIND, THE ACFT HAD ROLLED FORWARD. I FOUND OUT LATER THAT THE RAMPER SETTING THE CHOCKS HAD TRIED TO SIGNAL THE PARKER THAT DUE TO THE ICY RAMP, THE ACFT HAD ROLLED, PUSHING THE CHOCKS OUT OF THE WAY. THE END RESULT WAS, THE ACFT HAD ROLLED FAR ENOUGH FORWARD FOR THE SLAT ON THE L WING TO STRIKE THE JETWAY CAUSING ENOUGH DAMAGE FOR THE CONTINUING FLT TO BE CANCELLED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO RAMP PERSONNEL OR PAX.
