Narrative:
Aborted takeoff. At about 30-40 KTS, I aborted the takeoff due to a master caution light. After we cleared the runway, we discovered that the pitot heat was not turned on. There are 2 opportunities to catch this on the checklist and somehow we overlooked both. It is a wakeup call to myself and the copilot that maybe we are both getting a little too comfortable in the B737. We both have over 1200 hours in the aircraft. We taxied back for another takeoff without incidence after running all checklists again.
