Narrative:
On lda/DME runway 12L, 1/4 - 1/2 mi outside freas at MDA of 12000 ft MSL, tower called us with low altitude alert. We confirmed to the tower our altitude as 1200 ft and altimeter 29.93 per ATIS. Continued to normal landing from freas. No irregularities noted in aircraft.
