Narrative:

I was in the back course galley helping another flight attendant with the duty-free paperwork, when suddenly we encountered moderate turbulence. The airplane shook violently, items were tossed around in the galleys and cabin, and walking was very difficult. I made my way back to my jumpseat (at door 1L) and made a PA telling the passenger to insure that their seatbelts were fastened tightly, and to hold onto lap babies. (By the way, the seatbelt sign was on prior to this whole incident.) I then called the captain and told him to make a PA, because the passenger were getting scared, which he did. I think the turbulence lasted about 15 mins (we weren't able to find any smooth air). When we landed, the captain got called into lhr operations and discussed it with a flight manager. I heard that the aircraft was taken OTS, but I'm not sure.

I MADE MY WAY BACK TO MY JUMPSEAT (AT DOOR 1L) AND MADE A PA TELLING THE PAX TO INSURE THAT THEIR SEATBELTS WERE FASTENED TIGHTLY, AND TO HOLD ONTO LAP BABIES.
