Narrative:
Departed mtn for a routine training flight with a new student pilot. Received the required squawk code from the ground controller prior to takeoff and flight into the ADIZ surrounding baltimore's class B airspace. Just after takeoff, contacted baltimore approach and advised the controller that we were on a VFR training flight and would stay around 10-15 NM southeast of mtn at 2000-2500 ft MSL. The controller told me to squawk 1200 and to contact him on the way back to mtn. We completed our training flight and monitored baltimore's frequency. We contacted baltimore approach, received another squawk, was cleared into the ADIZ. I was then asked to contact baltimore approach via land line after landing. I contacted approach control and was informed that I apparently entered the ADIZ without clearance during the training flight. I was advised that I should not have let the controller release me (squawk 1200) that close to the ADIZ. I am familiar with the area and don't believe I entered the airspace.

Title: UPON RETURN TO LNDG AFTER TRAINING FLT, C172 INSTR CALLS PCT SUPVR, BEING ADVISED OF DC ADIZ VIOLATION. A QUESTION OF XPONDER CHANGE DISCUSSED.
Narrative: DEPARTED MTN FOR A ROUTINE TRAINING FLT WITH A NEW STUDENT PLT. RECEIVED THE REQUIRED SQUAWK CODE FROM THE GND CTLR PRIOR TO TKOF AND FLT INTO THE ADIZ SURROUNDING BALTIMORE'S CLASS B AIRSPACE. JUST AFTER TKOF, CONTACTED BALTIMORE APCH AND ADVISED THE CTLR THAT WE WERE ON A VFR TRAINING FLT AND WOULD STAY AROUND 10-15 NM SE OF MTN AT 2000-2500 FT MSL. THE CTLR TOLD ME TO SQUAWK 1200 AND TO CONTACT HIM ON THE WAY BACK TO MTN. WE COMPLETED OUR TRAINING FLT AND MONITORED BALTIMORE'S FREQ. WE CONTACTED BALTIMORE APCH, RECEIVED ANOTHER SQUAWK, WAS CLRED INTO THE ADIZ. I WAS THEN ASKED TO CONTACT BALTIMORE APCH VIA LAND LINE AFTER LNDG. I CONTACTED APCH CTL AND WAS INFORMED THAT I APPARENTLY ENTERED THE ADIZ WITHOUT CLRNC DURING THE TRAINING FLT. I WAS ADVISED THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE LET THE CTLR RELEASE ME (SQUAWK 1200) THAT CLOSE TO THE ADIZ. I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA AND DON'T BELIEVE I ENTERED THE AIRSPACE.
