Narrative:
Purely mechanical. Captain advised crew of situation, then informed passenger. We were advised that it was a hydraulic failure of one of the 4 hydraulic system. He said he would fly to use fuel and then land heavy. If an evacuate/evacuation was required, captain would use signal system and announce exits not to be used. We landed safely. Passenger and all crew fine.

Title: A B767-300 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT, AFTER DEPARTING MIA, THE CAPT ANNOUNCED A RETURN TO THE ARPT DUE TO A HYD PROB.
Narrative: PURELY MECHANICAL. CAPT ADVISED CREW OF SIT, THEN INFORMED PAX. WE WERE ADVISED THAT IT WAS A HYD FAILURE OF ONE OF THE 4 HYD SYS. HE SAID HE WOULD FLY TO USE FUEL AND THEN LAND HVY. IF AN EVAC WAS REQUIRED, CAPT WOULD USE SIGNAL SYS AND ANNOUNCE EXITS NOT TO BE USED. WE LANDED SAFELY. PAX AND ALL CREW FINE.
