Narrative:

Purely mechanical. Captain advised crew of situation, then informed passenger. We were advised that it was a hydraulic failure of one of the 4 hydraulic system. He said he would fly to use fuel and then land heavy. If an evacuate/evacuation was required, captain would use signal system and announce exits not to be used. We landed safely. Passenger and all crew fine.

Title: A B767-300 FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT, AFTER DEPARTING MIA, THE CAPT ANNOUNCED A RETURN TO THE ARPT DUE TO A HYD PROB.

Narrative: PURELY MECHANICAL. CAPT ADVISED CREW OF SIT, THEN INFORMED PAX. WE WERE ADVISED THAT IT WAS A HYD FAILURE OF ONE OF THE 4 HYD SYS. HE SAID HE WOULD FLY TO USE FUEL AND THEN LAND HVY.
