We read back a visual approach clearance for runway 27R which was intended for air carrier Y. ATC did not acknowledge our readback and we started the approach. In our descent, ATC immediately told us to fly heading 090 degrees and back to 270 degrees and climb back to 4000 ft. We contacted ord approach supervisor and he indicated it was an ATC hearback mistake.
