Charter flight mke-sat. After landing in sat, my dispatcher informed me that we were over our payload weight by 800 pounds, because the ramp supervisor did not inform anyone that additional supplies had been put into the forward bin until after we took off.

Title: THE FLT CREWOF A DC9-30 CHARTER FLT IS INFORMED THAT THEIR ACFT WAS 800 LBS OVERWT WITH UNACCOUNTED SUPPLIES IN FORWARD CARGO HOLD AFTER LNDG AT SAT, TX.
Narrative: CHARTER FLT MKE-SAT. AFTER LNDG IN SAT, MY DISPATCHER INFORMED ME THAT WE WERE OVER OUR PAYLOAD WT BY 800 LBS, BECAUSE THE RAMP SUPVR DID NOT INFORM ANYONE THAT ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES HAD BEEN PUT INTO THE FORWARD BIN UNTIL AFTER WE TOOK OFF.
